Our Mission

TartanCell is a spinout company from the School of Life Sciences, University of Dundee

The mission of TartanCell is to help meet the healthcare needs of diverse modern populations by lowering the cost of providing society with more safe new drugs. We aim to help deliver drugs that are effective and safe for the broadest range of patients of different gender and ethnicity.

TartanCell have developed radically new technology approaches for Precision Drug Discovery that can increase the success rate of new drugs entering clinical trials. The TartanCell technology now enables the impact of population level variability in drug responses to be assessed in a laboratory platform, before drugs are tested on patients in the clinic.
